2. Alappuzha Gymkhana – A Feel-Good Sports Drama
Alappuzha Gymkhana is a sports drama with a fresh turn in the genre. The story revolves around five friends belonging to Alappuzha who are the victims of educational failure and take solace in the sport of boxing. On an entry permit in the form of sports quota admissions to the college, they join the school of boxing in Alappuzha Gymkhana, where they receive an intensive training. Their physical and emotional struggle is traced as they prepare for the Kerala State Amateur Boxing Championship in the movie.
Directed and written by Khalid Rahman, Alappuzha Gymkhana stands out for its realistic portrayal of youth friendships, challenges, and dreams. The film focuses more on the growth of characters and inner growth of the central actors rather than straightforward boxing victory. Naslen K. Gafoor and Lukman Avaran's acting has widely been praised for being so rich emotionally, while the script integrates comedy with drama extremely well.

3. Get-Set Baby – A Family Drama on Infertility and Parenthood
Starring Unni Mukundan and Nikhila Vimal, Get-Set Baby is an endearing portrayal of the sensitive topic of infertility and IVF. Unni Mukundan plays Dr. Arjun Balakrishnan, a male gynecologist and IVF specialist, while Nikhila plays his supportive wife Swathy. 4. Bazooka – An Edge-of-Your-Seat Action Thriller
Mammootty does the trick again of serving up an adrenaline-fueled thriller with Bazooka. The film tells the story of Benjamin Joshua, a Kochi cop who has to arrest a group of professional robbers. The robbers have a strange modus operandi – they behave like characters in a popular video game. With action, drama, and suspense throughout, Bazooka promises to be an exciting ride for action fans.
Directed by Deeno Dennis in his directorial debut, Bazooka has received mixed reviews from reviewers. Although the action sequences and suspenseful plot turns have been well appreciated, a few felt that the plot was a bit standardized. Still, Mammootty's passionate performance and the speed of the movie have entertained the audience. The heart-thumping cat-and-mouse game between the cop and the goons will keep you glued to the screen.
