About the Film
Set against the backdrop of a massive financial scam, Kuberaa follows Neeraj Mitra, a businessman with a plan to control an oil reserve in the Bay of Bengal. To execute this secret operation, he enlists Deepak, a former CBI officer now imprisoned for standing against corruption. Deepak, despite his moral discomfort, is forced to comply and recruits a group of beggars to carry out the job discreetly in Mumbai.
Among them is Deva (played by Dhanush), a kindhearted man from Tirupati who finds himself in the middle of a sinister plot. When Deva realises that he and his companions are going to be eliminated after the mission, he escapes — triggering a dangerous manhunt. In the process, he meets Sameera (Rashmika Mandanna), a young woman stranded in the city. Together, they embark on a journey of survival, courage, and self discovery.
