Ajay Devgn is back in action as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in Raid 2, the much anticipated sequel to the 2018 hit Raid. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, this crime thriller continues the theme of income tax raids and white collar crime, with a fresh storyline and cast. The movie picks up seven years after the events of the first film. Amay Patnaik, known for his integrity and fearless work in the Income Tax Department, gets transferred to the town of Bhoj in Madhya Pradesh. His mission? To bring down Dada Manohar Bhai (played by Riteish Deshmukh), a corrupt yet publicly adored politician.
With support from his team and his wife Malini (Vaani Kapoor), Patnaik dives deep into the hidden world of black money, facing multiple challenges including a brief suspension. The climax teases the possibility of a third installment with another antagonist waiting in the wings.
